Welcome to this meditation for unwinding after a hard day. We’ll move through an evening reset to help you transition into restful sleep.
Take the next few moments to find a comfortable position, perhaps lying on your back—a place where you can fully release the weight of your body, the weight of your mind, and anything that happened today. Let go of the weight of the world that you may be carrying on your shoulders.
Allow yourself to fully embrace the tranquility of the evening and the deep rest that awaits you.
Soften your eyes. Adjust any support underneath your body or place a blanket over yourself for warmth and comfort.
Together, let’s take a full, slow inhale through the nose… and a gentle sighing exhale out of the mouth. Let’s try that once more—inhale slowly and deeply… and exhale, letting it go.
Now, keeping your lips softly sealed, breathe in and out through the nose. Allow your breath to flow effortlessly, dissolving any pauses between inhales and exhales, creating a seamless rhythm—one breath at a time.
