Welcome to this meditation where we will embark on a journey—sinking into sleep.

My name is Michael, and I will be your guide this evening.

Take a few moments to find a comfortable place to lie down, perhaps in your bed—a place where you feel fully supported and can allow every muscle in your body to completely relax.

As you settle in, find a comfortable position to rest your legs, your arms, and your hands.

Together, let’s take a slow, deep inhale through the nose… and a gentle sighing exhale through the mouth. Let’s try that again—inhale deeply and slowly… and exhale with a soft sigh, releasing any tension.

Now, with your eyes gently closed and your lips softly sealed, begin breathing in and out through your nose. Allow your breath to flow effortlessly, dissolving any pauses or retentions between inhales and exhales, creating one smooth, continuous cycle of breath.

Let your awareness rest there, allowing this breath to be the foundation for your practice.
