Hello, my name is Amanda. I will be guiding you through a meditation designed for traveling for work. Meditation is made to be mobile. Yes, it’s true—you can bring your meditation practice with you wherever you go, especially when traveling for work.

Ready to begin? Let’s settle in. Start by finding a comfortable posture and position. For this meditation, you can be sitting upright in a seat or chair or even lying down comfortably. When you're ready, softly close your eyes.

Begin to sense the body breathing. Observe the body breathing in, and observe the body breathing out. As you continue to rest your attention on the natural sensations of the breath, begin to contemplate in your mind: What is your motivation for meditation?

Take the next few moments to reflect on why you want meditation to be a part of your life. No matter the reason, honor it. Perhaps you sleep better at night when you meditate, or maybe you feel more centered and balanced throughout your day. Spend a little more time exploring your own unique reasons for wanting meditation to be a non-negotiable part of your daily life, especially when you’re on the move and traveling.

Now that you are aware of your personal motivations and intentions for meditation, revisit them in your mind one by one, silently repeating them to yourself. Place your attention and awareness around the heart space in your body. Invite yourself to transform these motivations and intentions into an inner commitment. Allow yourself to become lionhearted about your meditation practice, making it a truly non-negotiable part of your life.

My time with you ends here, but if you wish, you can continue meditating for as long as you like. Thank you for making this important commitment to yourself and your meditation practice. I look forward to spending more time in meditation with you again soon.
