Transcript
Hello, my name is Shayna, and welcome to your meditation for women.
This meditation is designed to support you in managing menstrual cramps through progressive muscle relaxation.
The Power of Progressive Muscle Relaxation
This technique involves tensing and relaxing different muscle groups throughout your body to:
Reduce physical tension
Alleviate discomfort
Open up your energy channels
Setting Up for Comfort
I invite you to find a comfortable space—either sitting or lying down.
Choose a position that feels deeply supportive, allowing you to experience the full benefits of this practice.
There will be no large movements, only the gentle tensing and releasing of muscles.
Take a few moments to settle into your position.
If you need to adjust, grab a pillow, or wrap yourself in a blanket to feel fully supported, cozy, and receptive, take this time to do so.
Settling Into Stillness
Beautiful.
Once you feel grounded, take a few moments to ease into stillness.
If you feel any discomfort, or if you need to stretch or shift before fully settling, please honor your body.
And eventually, you land fully here—in this moment, in this space, in this breath.
From this place of presence, gently soften your gaze or close your eyes.
Allow yourself to receive a deep, nourishing inhale through your nose, filling up completely…
