Hello, my name is Shayna, and welcome to this women meditation called Pleasure is a Skill.
Let’s Get Started
Take a few moments to find a comfortable position—either sitting or lying down.
Make any necessary adjustments so that you feel grounded, steady, and fully supported.
You may wish to stretch, shake off the day, or simply let your body transition into this moment.
You’ve made it this far—now allow yourself to fully arrive.
Do whatever you need to do to feel deeply connected to the earth beneath you—this solid foundation that is always supporting you.
As you ground down into the earth, gently close your eyes or soften your gaze.
Breathing into Presence
Take a deep inhale and feel the length of your spine if you are sitting.
If you are lying down, notice the gentle expansion of your torso as you breathe in.
Now, exhale with a soft sigh, releasing any tension from your jaw, forehead, and shoulders.
Notice how it feels to make sound as you exhale.
Let’s try that again—a slow, deep breath in, filling yourself with oxygen, life force energy, and space…
And exhale with a soft “haaa”—activating the vocal cords, which helps to reduce stress and deepen your awareness of the present moment.
