Transcript
Welcome to this women meditation focused on managing period fatigue through mindfulness.
My name is Shayna, and I am honored to guide you through this practice.
Understanding Period Fatigue
Fatigue and tiredness are natural and common symptoms during menstruation.
Mindfulness allows us to listen to our body’s needs and find constructive ways to rest and rejuvenate as the body moves through this important process of shedding.
Oftentimes, it is resisting fatigue that causes frustration.
But in truth, these symptoms are simply the body’s signals calling for deeper rest and relaxation.
This meditation will help you create space for acceptance and rest—allowing you to fully surrender to what your body needs during this time.
Let’s Begin
I invite you to find a comfortable position.
You may choose to sit, and if so, feel free to prop yourself up with a cushion or bolster.
You can lean against a wall or a chair—whatever feels most supportive for you.
This is not the kind of meditation where you need to be sitting tall or actively engaged.
Instead, this practice is about sinking into the sensation of rest—even embracing the feeling of tiredness, without resistance.
So if that means lying down on your back, by all means—allow yourself to fully relax, and yes, even fall asleep if that’s what your body needs.
