Transcript
Hello, my name is Shayna, and welcome to this meditation for women focused on managing emotions during PMS and your period.
If you tend to feel the ebb and flow of emotions during this time, know that this is a completely natural phenomenon.
Just as the waves of the sea rise and fall, our bodies—which are mostly water—experience shifts as we move through hormonal changes.
It is possible, and even expected, that we may feel these emotional fluctuations.
Honoring Your Emotions
The first thing to remember is: this is normal.
Practices of mindfulness and meditation can help us:
Observe our emotions without judgment
Feel and process them with compassion
Accept each feeling as part of the natural rhythm of life
Every single emotion has a function and a purpose.
In this meditation, I invite you to allow yourself to feel—to be fully present with whatever arises.
