Hello and welcome to this magical bedtime meditation.
My name is Marissa, and tonight, we’re going on a magical adventure to a hidden treehouse, nestled deep within an enchanted forest.
To begin, get cozy in whatever way feels best for you.
You might choose to snuggle up in bed, sit on a soft surface, or wrap yourself in your favorite blanket.
Take a moment to settle in and allow your body to relax.
OK.
When you're ready, gently close your eyes.
Let’s begin by taking a few deep breaths together.
Take a deep breath in through your nose… and out through your mouth.
Inhale deeply… and exhale slowly.
Take another deep breath in, feeling your tummy fill with air, expanding like a balloon… and exhale, releasing all the air from your body.
When we take deep breaths, we send a gentle signal to our mind and body that it's time to relax and get ready for sleep.
Wonderful job taking these deep breaths and preparing for our adventure.
