Transcript
Hello My name is Shayna, Welcome to this Women meditation focused on the importance of bringing awareness to your breath as a resource for alleviating symptoms of PMS.
I like to think of PMS as "Please Make Space."
PMS symptoms are often a signal from the body that some form of relaxation or rest is needed.
During this time, the body is undergoing intense internal processes, and ideally, we should adjust our routine to honor these changes.
If we try to push through or ignore these signals, we may experience:
Discomfort
Cravings
Irritability or mood swings
Using Breath to "Make Space"
The simplest way to "please make space" is through the breath.
Breathing oxygenates the body, improving circulation so that the flow of energy, lymph, and blood can function optimally.
It also releases stress and tension, which can help ease premenstrual and menstrual discomfort.
What to Expect in This Practice
Today, I will guide you through a simple, deep, and soft breathing practice designed to support you—not just in managing PMS, but in your overall physical and emotional well-being.
