My name is Shayna, and I am honored to guide you through this women meditation practice.
The Importance of Prioritizing Pleasure
In our busy lives, it’s easy to forget to prioritize pleasure.
We often expect pleasure to just happen, but the truth is—if we don’t make space for it, get curious about it, or even schedule it—it may fall to the bottom of our list… if it even makes the list at all.
Pleasure is a powerful force—it has the ability to:
Unwind stress
Calm the nervous system
Bring forth joy
Even offer spiritual insight
Pleasure Begins With You
Pleasure is important whether or not you are in a relationship.
In truth, all pleasure starts with self.
If we want to enhance intimacy in relationships, we must first understand what we enjoy, so that we can confidently communicate it with a partner.
Our pleasure is our responsibility.
Today, we will explore how to receive pleasure with openness and presence, thereby:
Releasing stress and tension
Building feelings of safety within the body
Allowing energy to flow freely, as nature intended
