Hello and welcome to this guided sleep meditation.

My name is Marissa, and tonight, we’ll be using warm water routines and visualizations to promote relaxation, regulate body temperature, and improve sleep quality.

By creating mindful moments and rituals like these throughout our day or just before sleep, we give our mind and body the opportunity to rejuvenate.

These rituals also allow us to energetically cleanse away any lingering emotions, experiences, or thoughts from the day that may be keeping us stuck or preventing us from resting.

Before we begin, let’s find a comfortable place to sit down.

For this practice, you might want to have a glass of warm water nearby—perhaps a cup of tea. You could also prepare a basin of warm water to soak your feet, a sink to run your hands under warm water, or even have access to a warm shower.

You can listen to this meditation while engaging in any warm water ritual of your choosing.

Having these things prepared for your ritual will make the practice easier.

However, if you don’t have access to a source of warm water, don’t worry—you can still fully engage by visualizing and imagining the sensations I’m describing with your mind’s eye.

I’ll give you a moment now to choose the warm water ritual you’d like to do during this meditation and prepare anything you may need.
